NEUROPATHOLOGIES

Soo... who's excited to learn about the brain!? WAHOO! Ha. Um... actually I'm hoping that I will be pleasantly surprised and enjoy this class. Let's just say that I'm not a very scientific-minded soul. I'm writing this as my mother is sitting next to me spouting out strange sounding pathophysiology terms such as, Henoch-Schonlein Purpura (an IGA nephropathy). Whatever that means. I have no idea why I did not inherit the blessed skill of memorizing diseases and functions of the body. Hence the reason why I work at a special education preschool. I get excited when one of my kiddos tells me that he went potty... and not in his pants. :) I seriously LOVE my job. Here's to a new semester of Grad School and curing diseases of the brain! Peace.
