Conglomeration of HAPPY BIRTHDAYS!!

So it appears that I have a nice chunk of birthday celebrations documented on my camera. I feel the strong desire to post a few now that I don't have to think about, think about, thinking about touchin' my Adult Swallowing Disorder textbook (for now). So... in chronological order...

Happy 26th Birthday, Kjersty! I just went on a camera-hunt all over the blasted house looking for her camera with her birthday pictures on it... no luck.
SO- in the meantime just picture me, Kjersty, and Shayna (Kjersty's sister) all in prom attire at Beto's whilst Cindy (Kjersty's mom) conducted the poor unsuspecting employees/white kids in line in singing a majestic rendition of Happy Birthday... all while Kjersty laughed out loud with embarrassment. This was perfect pay back for her making me go to Beto's in a bright blue prom dress. I mean I like being a princess and everything, but seriously it wasn't even dark outside when we got there.
Happy Birthday, Princess Kjersty!

Next a shout-out to Andrea (Kjersty's best friend since childhood).
She also turned the big 2-6 and celebrated with a rockin' Barbie cake created by Miss Kjersty herself! Loved the checkered layers... loved the condom wrapped around Barbie's legs even more... Sick.

Next we have HAPPY 29th BIRTHDAY, J.P.!!
We celebrated on the Friday after his birthday at my Dad's with some super yummy BBQ and donut cake! That's what you get when you put the girl working full-time, finishing the third semester of her graduate program in charge of the birthday cake.
Oh well... we all love donuts... some of us a little tooo much. Haha. Oh and isn't J.P.'s girlfriend so adorable. They make me smile!

Next I went up to Logan to celebrate with Helen... another 1985 baby! She happened to be coming DOWN to Logan while I was coming UP to Logan for school on her birthday! HOORAY! Breauna and I got to meet up with Helen, Steve and the twins for a birthday dinner at Chilis. It was delightful!
Happy Birthday, Helen Melon! Love you, girl!

(Don't mind that I have NO clue how to format pictures on this blog...)

Last, but not least... Happy Birthday, Eileen! Vicky came up to spend time with Mama Eileen for her birthday and I tagged along! We ate some deliciosa comida Mexicana at El Matador! Then we headed to the cheap theater for a movie. Don't watch the movie Just Go With It. It has Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Vicky and I laughed hysterically throughout the move, but Eileen and Brandon walked out and went to a different show. Hmmm.... good thing the RMs are being such good examples. I blame Vicky! haha. It was a really fun night and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it! Love you, Mama Eileen!

Tanja's birthday was just this past Sunday (Easter), but she was in Colorado visiting her sister. Hopefully soon I'll have a picture or two of some celebrations for her big 2-6!

Feliz Cumple to all of my family, friends, brothas and sistas all over the world celebrating your birthdays!!!

Got my herr did.

My hair has been pretty long for awhile now. The last time I cut it really short was a few weeks before I returned from my mission. With a only a handful of trims over the past three years, my hair had become what I like to call
BURNT SCRAGGLES.
See ------->
Whoaaa there with the flat iron.... Therefore, it was necessary to start fresh and bid my locks adieu. I donated them to a good cause though! My friend, Jenny Hansen the artist,
was collecting hair for her senior art thesis:
Mourning as a Memory.

Jenny's friend, Rachel Turner, just happens to be a FABULOUS artist as well. A hair and make-up artist to be specific. She works

Last Wednesday I scheduled the funeral for my
sad, sad strands.
Rachel is truly an artist. Call her for your next hair cut!
For the reals. 801-920-3486.
I told her I wanted healthy hair, an a-line and gave her permission to chop.
This was the finished product...
Love.
Two weeks ago my mother dearest was also in need of a herr cut. We went to the ATC cosmetology school where I secretly learn the skillz and then re-do my mom's hair afterward. We both kept telling the girl shorter, shorter.... but she wasn't confident that we knew what short meant. We mean short. SOOO. I took my mom over to Salon de Paula and we got to work. She of course was reading one of her textbooks while I snipped and straightened. Multitasker at her best. :) I think that her hair turned out fantastic. I think she looks HOTT.
Maybe we'll go even shorter next time or even dye it with a lil' koolaid.

"I'm ridin' in the wagon!"

For my 26th (yes, 26!) birthday my lovely mama took me to the Prairie Schooner Restaurant for some delicious steak and shrimp. The meal was complete with our very own wagon and coyote. The food was good, too!

My favorite part however, was when my
mother was told to pose for a
picture and this is what I got....

So I asked her why her hand was up in the air and she replied,
"Well, I'm holdin' onto the wagon..."
As if the wagon were moving and we were about to fall off!! Haha! My mother is silly.

So I did this....

And now for some normal shots.

(Okay so her eyes were closed...)

I love my mamasita!
May we enjoy
many,
many,
many (infinity)
more birthday dinners together.
