I have to give Breauna credit for introducing me to The Forgotten Carols. It is her family's tradition to attend the production every year to start off the Christmas season. I've been able to see the show a few times now with her and with friends and family members. It has become something I look forward to at the end of each year. Just hearing the opening notes as the show begins sends chills up my arms. Perhaps it is the beautiful music that Michael McLean has shared with the world, perhaps it is the excitement that
comes with the Christmas season on its way, perhaps it is the fact that I listened to The Forgotten Carols CD nonstop on my mission, but I believe that it IS definitely the spirit testifying to me that the message of the production is true. Jesus is the Christ and the Redeemer of the world. He came to the world to provide me and you a gift that is so incredible and magnificent we cannot fully comprehend it. I am grateful to know the Savior as MY Savior and as my friend. He lives. And I WILL arise and shine forth to proclaim my testimony of the only real power on this earth.

It was part of his birthday present from me. I'm so glad that I got to share this time with him. It was fun getting snackies to sneak into the show, getting kneed in the back of the head by the kids behind us, linking arms and knowing that our love as brother and sister can continue beyond this life. I'm grateful he let me lip sync all of the songs and cry throughout the show. The performance was as powerful as ever. I love each scene and each song. They all inspire me in a way that I leave the performance wanting to shout out in praises to the Lord and share my testimony of His tender love and mercy for us. The story of His birth is magical and so perfect. I love this time of year. May we find ways to LET HIM IN and share His light and love with those searching for it.

Merry CHRISTmas!
